Nestled in the peaceful bushland of Tomerong, our glamping site offers a unique getaway close to all the South Coast highlights. Just a short drive to the crystal-clear waters of Jervis Bay, Hyams Beach, Huskisson, and Basin View, it’s the perfect base to explore white-sand beaches, coastal walks, local markets, and cafés, then return to relax under the stars in comfort.
Beyond the beaches, the region is brimming with outdoor adventures. You can hike through Booderee National Park, wander lush botanic gardens, or take a dolphin or whale-watching cruise from Huskisson. Tomerong itself offers a slower pace, think weekend markets, scenic bush tracks, and birdwatching right from your tent.
If food and wine are on the agenda, you’ll find boutique wineries, farm gates, and breweries scattered across the Shoalhaven. Spend the day exploring local produce, then head back for a campfire evening under a blanket of stars. Whether it’s adventure-filled days or simply switching off in nature, Tomerong puts you close to it all while offering a quiet sanctuary to retreat to at day’s end.

Our glamping site is designed for comfort and convenience. Guests have access to shared bathrooms and toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen, fire pits and BBQ facilities for outdoor cooking, and plenty of space to unwind. A friendly caretaker is onsite to assist with any questions or issues, so you can simply relax and enjoy your stay.
The layout has been designed with both social and private spaces in mind. Whether you’d like to gather around the fire with fellow guests or retreat to a quiet corner to read and recharge, there’s room for every style of traveller. Families, couples, and groups of friends can enjoy evenings of stargazing, campfire chats, and freshly cooked meals under the night sky.
Our goal is to create a calm and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy the beauty of nature. From peaceful mornings with a coffee in hand to afternoons exploring nearby beaches, it’s the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories together.
We’ve also put thought into the little details that make a stay comfortable: ample seating, sheltered spots for rainy days, and eco-friendly touches that reflect the natural surroundings. Everything you need is here, so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying the experience.
Our property is home to over 100 plants of the critically endangered pot-bellied greenhood orchid (Pterostylis ventricosa), found only in a few places in New South Wales. These delicate wild orchids bloom each year with striking green and red-brown hooded flowers, and we feel incredibly lucky to care for such a rare species.
By staying with us, you’re helping support the protection of this unique native plant. We’re committed to preserving its habitat and ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the beauty and diversity of our local bushland.
